Jamaican Bible Goes to Bethel Bible College

On Tuesday, 9th November, BSWI’s Translation Department visited Bethel Bible College, an undergraduate theological institution, opperated by the islands largest Trinitarian Pentecostal denomination, the New Testament Church of God in Jamaica and the Cayman Islands.  The discussion on visiting Bethel  was initiated by Andrae Harper, a current student of the instituion and a voice on our Luuk Buk audio production!

The event went very well, in fact, better than some of us had anticipated.  The warm reception the Translation Team received and the institution’s pronounced enthusiasm for and support of the project made the trip to Bethel most rewarding psychologically.

At the end of the presentation, Leonie Samuels, a second year student, recited to everyone assembled an impromptu poem she wrote in response to the our presentation.  Leonie is captured reciting the poem in the YouTube video clip below.  The pictures in this post were taken  at the occasion.
